Help us Heal Alienated Families
Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) affected families need your help
Parental alienation syndrome is a collection of signs and symptoms exhibited by children who are alienated from one parent though manipulated by the other parent. This specifically happens in case of bitter divorce and custody fights. The children show range of negative behavior against the alienated parent. PAS is a form of emotional child abuse and lead to long term behavioral and adjustment issues in children. The alienated parents are suffering due to the breakdown of “parent-child relationship”. PAS is still evolving phenomena in medical and legal field hence the available help to families is limited. The journey of reconnecting and healing relationship between alienated parent and child is not easy.
I have experienced PAS in my life as parent and that is my inspiration behind forming HealPAS to help other families. I managed to reunite with my child after 13 years of alienation and the process wasn’t easy. I hope to share my learning and help other families in reuniting as I often think I wish I had done this or known this. The process is frustrating for both the affected child and the parent.
I hope to bring my personal experience of PAS and professional experience as a scientist to build a robust platform HealPAS to help families by connecting them together, building a network of therapist and advocate through scientific studies.
